Much Ado About Tamanduas

Rhode Island’s Roger Williams Park Zoo, introduced a new baby tamandua. Tamanduas are a type of anteater, native to South America. Mom Carina, Dad Salvador and their new pup, are all doing well. The baby, who doesn’t have a name yet, travels on her mama’s back. Wild tamanduas can eat 9000 ants-per-day!
