Why is the Ice So Furry?

The Hershey Bears hockey team in Pennsylvania, has an annual tradition. They hold a Teddy Bear Toss, to collect toys for children. When the home team scores their first goal, the fans throw teddy bears onto the ice. There were so many this year, the game was delayed by 40 minutes to gather 45,650 bears!
