Bicycle Bob may be 95 years old, but he’s not letting a little thing like age, slow him down. Bob Mettauer just rode his 100,000th mile, since retiring in California in the ’90s. He rides 9 miles a day, rain or shine, so you’ll know where to find him next month, on his 96th birthday!

A restaurant in Alabama called Drexell & Honeybee’s, has no set menu, no prices, and no cash register. That’s because all the food, is no charge! The owners, Freddie and Lisa Thomas-McMillan, serve soul food and comfort, to anyone who needs it. They accept donations, so those who have extra, are helping those with nothing.

Zach Regan and Matty Johnson went on a surfing trip, to Vancouver Island Canada. While out in a boat, they were surprised to spot a dog, in a remote sea cave. With some difficulty, they were able to rescue the starving dog, and locate her overjoyed family. Stella had been missing for 3 months!

Fossils found on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom, are from a newly named dinosaur. The 115 million-year-old fossils were hollow, so paleontologists named it Vectaerovenator nopinatus, which means unexpected air-filled hunter from the Isle of Wight. The creature was 13 feet long, with delicate bones like modern-day birds.

Today is Creamsicle Day! Creamsicles are vanilla ice cream on a popsicle stick, covered with an orange flavored coating. 11 year-old Frank Epperson, made the original creamsicle in 1905, when he experimented with freezing orange juice around a vanilla ice cream popsicle. He originally called his inventions, “Epsicles”!

2 beluga whales, named Little Grey and Little White, have a new home. The 11-year-old whales had spent 7 years performing, in Shanghai China. They’ve been released in the world’s first whale sanctuary, in Klettsvik Bay Iceland. The enclosed ocean habitat, gives formerly-captive whales and dolphins plenty of freedom, while keeping them safe in their retirement.

A new electric car in Germany, gets a free boost from the sun. The Sion, designed by Sono Motors, is entirely covered in solar panels. It can generate enough power on its own, to cover 21 miles, twice as far as the average commute in Germany. City driving can be cost- and emissions-free.
