Idaho man David Rush, has broken more than 250 world records, and currently holds the title for most simultaneous records. To make sure his competitors don’t catch up, he continues setting new records. His latest title is for bouncing a ping pong ball off the wall with his mouth, 51 times in 30 seconds.

In October, the Tewkesbury Abbey in Gloucestershire England, will retire their service dogs for God, named Eric and Florence. The pair of black Labradors have worked 3 days a week, wearing name badges, and acting as therapy dogs for visitors. The historic abbey has grown too cold for the older dogs.

The Columbus Zoo in Ohio, announced the birth of a baby bonobo, to first-time mother Kibbi. Bonobos are an endangered species of ape, but the little guy is the 18th member of the zoo’s troop. Kibbi’s mom, Kimia, and grandparents, Susie and Jimmy, still live at the zoo, so they’ll see their grandson often.

Archaeologists worked with an expert weaver, to unravel the mysteries in the world’s oldest pants. The 3000-year-old trousers, found in China, are made of wool. The original weaver switched techniques as they went along, to make the pants stretchier in the middle, with thicker knees, and a sturdy waistband. They’re perfect for horseback riding.

Have you ever eaten ants on a log? Unless you’re an anteater, it was probably the cleverly-named celery snack. For Ants On A Log Day, spread peanut butter on a stalk of celery, stick raisins in the peanut butter, and eat it! Since it’s also I Love Food Day, follow your snack with dinner.

Ok all you weirdos, here’s the day you’ve been waiting for. It’s Wonderful Weirdos Day! Be proud to be different; it makes the world a more interesting place. It’s also Teddy Bear Day. When President Teddy Roosevelt was nice to a bear cub in 1902, the first stuffed bear toy was named after him.

Sometimes soccer nets, catch more than balls. A school in Texas called Animal Services, after finding a young great horned owl, trapped in the net on their soccer field. Officers untangled the owl, now named Keeper, and took him to a wildlife rehabilitation center. Keeper will be checked for injuries before being released.
