For National Scribble Day, here’s a fun activity to do with someone. Each person draws a scribble on a piece of paper. Now exchange papers, and turn the scribble into a drawing! Scribbles can become works of art. Just look up the famous artist, Cy Twombly, for inspiration. Go scribble a masterpiece!

People have started adding other things their neighbors might need, like craft kits, or toilet paper! Some have even been converted into food pantries. Don’t forget to wash your hands after visiting the library!

Have you ever wondered where cats go, when they disappear outside? Scientists launched the Cat Tracker Project, to find out. They placed GPS trackers on nearly 1000 cats, and followed their movements. While 7% wandered areas of 25 acres or more, most cats spent all their time within 300 feet of their yards. Cats are almost universally lazy.

Today is Little Red Wagon Day! Last year, Kevin Schaller and his team put a motor in a Radio Flyer wagon, and raced it 30 miles-per-hour, on a track in Illinois. When you’re not riding in a wagon, they’re good for collecting rocks, taking your stuffed toys on a picnic, or carrying puppies!
