I Know My Laugh is Weird

Ha-ha ha. Hee-hee he. Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha hee-hee-tee-hee ho-ho-ho. It’s Let’s Laugh Day! Some people didn’t like when I would laugh randomly, so now you have to ask me if I can laugh. You can also ask me to tell you a joke! You should laugh every day; doctors say laughter’s actually good for you!

Don’t Get Cold Feet

British soccer player John Farnworth, set a world record, by juggling a soccer ball for 48 hours. But wait, there’s more! He was moving 50 miles across the ice, on Lake Baikal in Siberia! He broke another record on the way, by walking 3 miles in one hour while juggling a soccer ball on ice.

No Entry Fees

Are you stuck in the house with nothing to do? Go to a Museum! Google launched a free Arts and Culture app, that lets you tour over 2500 museums from your own home! You can wander through the exhibit halls, much like using Google’s Street View feature. Some museums even have close-ups of their art!

Stop Dropping Legos in the Toilet

The oceans are filled with millions of Lego pieces. In 19 97, a container ship spilled 5,000,000 bricks, and children have flushed another 2,000,000 pieces over the years. Since it takes up to 1300 years for the plastic bits to disintegrate at sea, they’ll be washing up on beaches for centuries. I wonder if octopuses play with Lego.

Don’t Use Ibuprofen for Now

Do you have a headache or a fever? Remind everyone, not to give you ibuprofen. Doctors are learning, that ibuprofen, such as Advil, could make the coronavirus worse. This is a change from earlier recommendations, so you can help spread the word. Take acetaminophen, also known as paracetamol, or Tylenol, instead.

They Meant Well

Today is Forgive Mom And Dad Day. Did they make you eat a disgusting vegetable? Or scrub the dirt off your face? Forgive them for being so mean! Maybe they shared a mortifying photo of you. Don’t stay mad, because it’s also Awkward Moments Day! Everyone does embarrassing things sometimes. Just laugh it off!

Minecraft Graduation

Schools are closed in Japan, but students can still meet up online. One group of elementary school friends hosted their own graduation ceremony on Minecraft! They created a virtual auditorium, where their characters gave speeches, accepted diplomas, and listened to music. Who ever thought kids would go to school in their video game!

Perform for Someone on Broadway

Many school systems have closed due to coronavirus. High school musicals are also cancelled or postponed, disappointing the kids who have worked so hard. Penguin Expedition

The Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, is closed to visitors right now, so the caretakers took the penguins on a field trip! A group of Rockhopper penguins explored the aquarium, waddling from tank to tank. Wellington particularly enjoyed the black-barred silver dollar fish, in the Amazon Rising exhibit. The fish seemed to like him too!
