If you see a vehicle on the side of the road with it’s emergency lights flashing, you should move over a lane when passing.

River Has a High Alcohol Content

If you saw the fish in California acting weird last week, they might have been drunk. A tank of Cabernet Sauvignon wine sprang a leak, at a winery in Sonoma County. At least 20,000 gallons of wine spilled into Reiman Creek, and Russian River. Luckily, the river was high, so it quickly diluted the spill.

Crew Dragon Preparing for Manned Space Travel

The SpaceX company’s Crew Dragon spaceship, is preparing for its first launch with an actual crew this spring. Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley will be the first astronauts, to use a commercial spacecraft. NASA’s space shuttle program ended in 2011. Since then, astronauts have depended on Russian spacecraft, to get to the International Space Station.

Strange Flavors Coming This Spring

Marshmallow Peeps have created some unusual marshmallow flavors in the past. This year’s surprise is Hot Tamale Peeps! To go with your spicy-hot marshmallows, try some Heinz HoneyRacha, instead of ketchup. Wash it down with a coffee Coca-Cola, or Jelly Belly Sparkling Water, then finish your weird meal with a Cotton Candy Kit Kat!

Did you know it’s Bubble Wrap Appreciation Day? The engineers who invented bubble wrap first tried to sell it as wallpaper, then greenhouse insulation. It wasn’t commonly used for packaging until 1961. But I’ll bet people were popping it from the very beginning! Have a popping party! The sound’s only annoying if you’re not participating.

Young People Making the World a Better Place

A group of teenagers addressed world leaders, at the World Economic Forum in Davos Switzerland last week. One speaker was 18-year-old Mohamad Al Jounde, a Syrian refugee. He built a school for other refugees, and helps them learn and heal. He’s been awarded both the International Children’s Peace Prize, and MTV’s Generation Change Award.
