Scientists have discovered a way to harvest even more solar energy, from our Sun. They’ve developed a molecule that absorbs energy from the entire visible spectrum of light, creating 50% more energy than current solar cells. The molecule is also a catalyst for creating hydrogen, which can be used as a clean fuel.

A world record attempt, for the largest gathering of twins, may have been thwarted by having too many twins show up. The Sri Lanka Twins event hoped to gather around 5000 sets of twins, but organizers were shocked when 14,000 sets showed up! The long lines caused many to leave before the mandatory photo was taken.

15-year-old Autumn Peltier is the Chief Water Commissioner from the Wiikwemkoong First Nation, in Ontario Canada. She’s been a water warrior since age 8, when she learned that oil pipelines and industrial waste, were contaminating the drinking water of many indigenous communities. Autumn will be speaking to world leaders, at the Davos World Economic Forum.
