Police officers in Maine, performed an incredible feat of bravery. They removed a cup, that was stuck on a skunk’s head! The poor little skunk was wandering around in circles in the middle of the road. After being freed, the skunk ran away unharmed, thankfully without spraying anyone.

He plucked the cups off, and the skunk ran away, thankfully without spraying him.

They hold the official world record, but Kenji Fukumitsu has often given away avocados that weigh more than 6 pounds! That’s a lot of avocado toast.

Today is Eat A Cranberry Day. They’re quite tart, so many recipes add lots of sugar, but raw cranberries are super-nutritious! It’s also Cashew Day. These nuts are seeds formed on the bottom of cashew apples. Look up a picture of a cashew tree! Then celebrate Espresso Day, by sampling some strong coffee.

Thanksgiving is this week, in the United States. Start your feast early, because today is Pumpkin Pie Day. Then you’ll have room to try other flavors on Thursday. Today is also Stuffing Day! Little cubes of bread, cooked with seasonings and whatever else you want to add, is the best stuff!
