Garbage is Never Great

The Ocean Cleanup is a group dedicated to removing plastic, from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. The trash vortex is twice as big as Texas, floating in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The device the group uses to collect plastics, is finally working properly. Their goal is to capture 15,000 tons per year!

Wallpaper for Charity

The Siesta Key Oyster Bar in Florida, is collecting money for Hurricane Dorian victims, by removing their wallpaper! The bar has a tradition where customers donate dollar bills, which get stapled to the walls and ceilings. The owners are carefully removing all the dollars, and have gathered around $15,000!

Respect Viruses

Today is Virus Appreciation Day. What? Viruses are pretty amazing, how they can spread so quickly between people, or computers. Show them you respect how dangerous they are, by washing your hands! To prevent computer viruses, keep your computer up to date, don’t open unexpected email attachments, and use anti-viruses and malware scanners.
