Everyone Loves a Hat From Miss Patty

Patty Reitz has been driving a school bus for decades, and you can always tell which students rode her bus. That’s because Miss Patty crochets hats, for every one of them. She’s made 7,083 hats for students in the Clarence Central School District, leaving behind warm memories of friendship, and warmer heads.

The Super Bowl takes place today in Nevada. Will this year’s American football champions be the San Fransisco 49ers, or the Kansas City Chiefs? Maybe you’ll just watch Usher perform in the halftime show.  Don’t forget the Puppy Bowl, on Animal Planet. It’ll be Team Fluff versus Team Ruff, playing for the Lombarky trophy.

In 18 88, Louis LePrince made the first motion picture. Roundhay Garden Scene was only 2 seconds long, just long enough to eat one piece of popcorn! It would be 7 more years before Auguste and Louis Lumière started the motion picture industry. Today is Global Movie Day, so have a movie marathon and watch all your favorites!

Coco’s eyelashes, are the envy of anyone who wants longer lashes. Coco is a newfypoo dog, which is a Newfoundland-poodle mix, and she has the longest eyelashes in the world. The California canine’s lashes, are 7 inches long! Coco’s humans always tell the groomer not to trim her beautiful lashes.
