Simply wipe your phone dry, then air dry naturally until all moisture has evaporated, before plugging it in, or charge wirelessly.

It’s International Polar Bear Day! Polar bears have black skin, and transparent hollow hairs that scatter light, making their fur look white! They can grow 9 feet tall, and have paws one foot wide. Polar bears live in Arctic sea ice regions, so climate change and melting ice, has caused them to become endangered.

Galapagos Islands Welcome Back Giant Tortoises

For the first time in 180 years, giant tortoises are back on Floreana Island in the Galapagos. 158 captive-bred teenage tortoises were released there, on February 20th. Although the original Floreana tortoises went extinct, these tortoises are a close hybrid, descended from the original species. More tortoises will be released each year.

Seven Planets at Once

On February 28th, there will be a planetary parade, soon after sunset. You’re standing on the first planet, of course. In the sky, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn will be visible with the naked eye, while Uranus and Neptune will require binoculars. Scope out a good spot now, for a planet-viewing party.
