Captain Tom Moore is an English World War 2 veteran, who’s raising money for British NHS Charities. He will be turning 100 years old on April 30th, so he’s decided to walk 100 laps around his garden, before the big day. He set a goal of raising 1000 pounds, but has already reached over 6,000,000. That’s over $7,500,000!

Yesterday, the Earth hit a neat milestone. The global population reached 7,777,777,777! It quickly passed, and is already nearing 7.78 billion, but it may take 10 years before the population reaches 8,888,888,888. It took until the year 18 hundred, for the world population to reach 1 billion. The 2nd billion took just 130 years. The last billion only took 12 years!

Before the coronavirus pandemic, Ben Ramirez was taking barista classes in San Francisco California. He hoped to one day open his own coffee shop. He’s getting real-life practice, by making free coffee for essential workers, who pass by his window. He uses a toy gorilla arm, to safely pass the coffee out the window.

New French Cafe is for the Birds

Do you miss going out to eat at a restaurant? James Vreeland decided to bring the restaurant to him! The Michigan man built a miniature cafe in his yard, for the neighborhood animals. There’s only outdoor seating at the Maison de Noix, which is French for Nut House. The squirrels and birds give it 5 stars.
