Let’s learn a bit about dolphins, for Dolphin Day! Dolphins are mammals. Even though they spend their life in water, they need to breathe air. They are very intelligent, have excellent eyesight and hearing, and can make a wide range of sounds. There are 40 different species of dolphin. The Amazon River dolphin is pink!

David Przybyla should be looking forward to staying at home. He has 2000 board games to entertain himself! He’s only played about 2% of them, and many aren’t even opened yet. David wants to get enough different games, to set a world record. He can play a new game every day for years!

Last week in New York, a goat found himself in a precarious predicament. The goat was standing next to the road, and got frightened when someone approached. He ran under the bridge, and climbed up into the support beams. After State Police and firefighters tried to rescue him, he ran back out on his own!

Be sure to get outside the next few nights, to view the night sky. On April 14th, 15th, and 16th, you can see the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars, lined up next to each other. Look for them very early in the morning, before dawn. Jupiter is the brightest, and Mars has a reddish color.

12-year-old Seth Charles, was planning to climb Scafell Pike in England, to raise money for his boxing club trip. Since the quarantine forced him to stay home, he climbed the stairway in his home 2507 times instead! That’s the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest. It took him nearly 24 hours, with short breaks to eat. Impressive!

Since 1948, people have enjoyed playing Scrabble, the game where you form words from randomly chosen letters. Today, on Scrabble Day, challenge your friends or family to a game! If you don’t have the board game, you can always get the app on a phone or tablet, and play online. Scrabble’s good for your brain!

A zebra in Kenya was hanging out with cows, after wandering out of East Tsavo National Park. She must have also had a donkey friend, because after being relocated to Chyulu National Park, to protect her from poachers, she gave birth to a baby zonkey! The foal is greyish-brown, with striped legs.

You never know what you’ll find when you start digging in dirt. A British man was digging holes for a fence in his back garden, and found a car! John Brayshaw is now excavating the vehicle, which appears to be a 19 55 or 56 Ford Popular, complete with license plates. It’s only missing the wheels!
