Today is Beaver Day! Beavers are the national animal of Canada. The master engineers build dams and canals, and make lodges out of mud and sticks. Their dams create valuable wetlands. They can stay underwater for 15 minutes, and use their flat tails like rudders. They’ll eat every part of a tree! No leftovers!

What’s the highest you’ve ever flown a kite? The world record is 16,009 feet, which is over 3 miles high! but a Canadian man wants to aim for a 20,000 foot kite-flying record. The only problem is, he can’t get approval from the government, to make the attempt. He’ll fly a little lower while he waits.

That’s No Puppy

A construction worker in Britain, found a stray puppy at a building site. He took the puppy home, but soon realized he’d made a mistake. It was really a baby fox! The RSPCA retrieved the fox kit, and will raise the baby until it can be released back into the wild.

Donating More than Just a Meal

2 new Jersey teenagers, are helping small businesses, healthcare workers, and patients, all at the same time. Drew and Heather Pagila started a GoFundMe campaign, to buy restaurant gift cards, and deliver them to hospitals. The cards are distributed to weak patients when they are released, and the heroes who work long hours, saving lives.
