Stick With a Single Sturdy Straw

Today is Drinking Straw Day, but modern plastic straws can harm the environment and wildlife. Paper straws were invented in 1888 by Marvin Stone. Snowy Owl Takes the Scenic Route

Birdwatchers in Southern California, got a rare treat last week. A snowy owl visited Orange County, for the first time in more than 100 years. The big white owl may have gotten confused by blizzards during its winter migration, which should have taken it to Minnesota. It’s a long way off course!
